Delicious Discoveries is a mobile app for food lovers. The app offers users recipes from different countries and cuisines and allows them to save their favorite recipes, create shopping lists and track their nutritional needs. With Delicious Discoveries, users can create their own recipes and share them with others.
This project was designed entirely by me, from the idea of the app and its logo to the animation!
Home screen / Feed
One of the main features of the application is a block on the main screen with the dish of the day «Today's dish», as well as the ability to select a category in the feed.
Recipe screen
The recipe screen provides complete information about the dish, including its nutritional properties, required ingredients, and the option to choose the number of servings desired. This feature enables users to obtain a precise list of ingredients required for the selected number of servings.
Drawer with Step-by-step recipe
A pull-out drawer with step-by-step cooking and accompanying animated illustrations.
Also, as a major feature of the app and to facilitate the cooking process, a pop-up window has been developed that the user can interact with during the cooking phase. The pop-up window will help to simplify and shorten the cooking time.
Reminder
One of the features of the pop-up is a reminder, if the recipe needs to leave something for, say, pickling for some time, the app will offer to put a reminder.
Dish rating
The last step encourages the user to rate the dish, after clicking on the button «Rate this dish» pops up with two steps that call to rate the recipe and dish, put a rating and leave a comment.
