A new logo design for Commonway Church in Muncie, Indiana. From the style guide:
We know. Discussions around “branding” in a church setting never feel necessary, and sometimes feel uncomfortable. This one shouldn’t. Our branding didn’t come by force or folly. It was created with intent and a strong tie to our guiding principles and philosophies.
Our brand, therefore, is a simple extension of who we are; our logo represents growth and our dynamic culture. It represents light and transparency in this life where darkness and closed-doors are easier. It represents city blocks we hope to impact—overlapping and relying each one upon the other, never alone. It’s rough, often rigid, sometimes misshapen; imperfect. Not unlike all of us.
