Two Spread Magazine Layout

This two-spread magazine design was made for practice in organizing large sets of type for function and image. My idea for this design was inspired by some of Emory Douglas’ work pictured on the second page, where I took colors from to use throughout the design. My use of a border going around the whole spread was also inspired by the presentation of his work in the photo used.
