In this project I was tasked with creating an animated video in collaboration with Her ALS Story, a group of young women with ALS.

I created the illustrations, visual system, and animated the video.

Process

I started this project by creating a mood board to share with stakeholders, which ensured we were all on the same page about how we wanted the visuals of the video to look early in the process.

Storyboard

Next I collaborated with my team to create the video script. Once we had the final script, I drew the storyboard to visualize the story and present to the stakeholders before we moved into more final art.

Initial artwork

Then I created more final artwork to test and share with stakeholders.

Final illustrations and animation

After presenting my initial artwork to the stakeholders, I was able to create a more concise visual language to move forward with and animate in After Effects.
