Interaction from a Dream I Had

So I had this idea for an interaction in a dream recently, and I can’t think of if I’ve seen it anywhere. I just had to prototype it quickly to get it out of my head.

The idea is that with a quick gesture, the tabs in a UITabBar could have quick previews and deeplinks to the content within them. Example: You get a notification that someone liked a photo on Instagram and swipe up to see which photo the notification is for.

I can think of a couple ways this could be ungainly, but wanted to throw it out into the community for feedback. Also, if you’ve seen this interaction somewhere, let me know!
