Saint Marvin - Color

Color version of the second in my series of portraits of saints of Houston, TX. This one is newscaster Marvin Zindler. Locally famous for his "Slime in the Ice Machine" restaurant reports, but nationally famous for his news report that led to the closing of the Chicken Ranch, which later became the basis for ZZ Tops "La Grange" as well as the musical "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas."

This is apart of my exhibition of Houston themed work entitled "HOUphoria" on display at Cactus Music in Houston, TX through July.
