New Employee Wordmark Loop

With the recent refresh of our wordmark/App Icon, we needed a GIF for new employees to share on LinkedIn! We wanted to celebrate the Zoom app icon, incorporate the subtle gradients present in our new identity, and create something that would catch attention in a feed without being too overbearing.

Key frames isolated as a storyboard

Our new standard wordmark animation has the text condensing into a circle, intended for smooth transitions in/out of content. We used that built-in transition to tunnel into itself, shifting between a white/blue colorway.

To add texture, we used a circle-constructed gradient that reveals our app-icon form. This helped incorporate a subtle gradient look while still making way for a flat, quiet moment with the wordmark.
