atem. - Logo Ideation

In this logo exploration I wanted to incorporate the Founders and their business concept into the design- helping exec leadership teams to grow through their early stages.

I started off with a sketch of the Helium atom, which has 2 outer electrons and is one of the most stable elements in the periodic table. This gives the idea that the founders orbit the leadership team they're working with to keep them stable and cohesive.

To fit better with a wordmark logo, I flipped from a top-view to profile-view of the atom, and experimented with different angles of rotation.

Finally I played with ways to combine the company name with the atom concept, and settled on a clean, modern wordmark logo.
