Hexa logo design

Hexa is a worldwide logistical services company running product to and from every corner of the globe. My brief was simple - create an abstract logomark and identity for the Hexa brand. The identity needed to help Hexa stand out from the competition in more ways than one.

For this brief, I didn’t just want to create an abstract mark for the sake of it, I wanted to create something that seemed abstract initially but was actually filled with meaning. This mark combines the idea of spokes in a wheel with a hexagon referencing the name of the brand. Furthermore, you can feel a real sense of motion through the direction the spokes are moving, inferring that Hexa are always on the go. Once I came up with the logomark, I paired it with a modern yet luxury feeling (due to the contrast of thicks and thins) sans-serif typeface to elevate the identity from the likes of Seko or GXO. Finally, a huge pop of colour meant that Hexa is sure to stand out from the competition!

Due to the geometric nature of the logomark, it works so well in a pattern. Whether that be in some form of repeating tessellation as on the business cards or formed into an arrow head as seen on the van or poster, the logomark can be used in so many different ways to add uniqueness to a design without sacrificing brand equity.
