New Header

So here is my first attempt at a header for the redesign of my site. Not too keen on the outer glow of the white box, but I'm working on it.
I'll admit it could use a sparkly gif.
Any suggestions to any part of this would be much appreciated. Thanks kids.

Update: This is scrapped.
