Why the dolphin? Centro is designed to connect world language teachers within a school district through mutual support, so a dolphin turned out to be the perfect symbol of that mission. Not only do dolphins have a highly advanced capacity for language, but they also rely on social connections and relationships to survive alongside other members of their pods. They can be smart, playful, and sometimes even terrifying, too - like teachers! Just kidding...sort of.
