Dark Energy Explorers - Logo Concept

Hii ^^ A few days ago, the people behind the Dark Energy Explorers project reached out to the community for a logo design contest. It's been a while since I made a logo from scratch so I instantly jumped on the opportunity!

Dark energy is what is causing the universe to expand faster as it ages. So my idea for the logo was to have 2 celestial bodies with seemingly increasing disctance between the 2, as seen through a traditional telescope. My choice for the purple shades as brand colors is based on the mysterious and intruiging feelings they radiate.
