iZotope + BT: Stutter Edit

15 years in the making (original code / theory from BT), started design in 2009, some time around April. Released at NAMM on Jan 13, 2011.

The main idea was just to have something that worked really well (of course), but also looked really great – something that would cause anyone using it to want to keep it open all the time.

Highly tactile styling (touch screens, buttons, holograms and a knob for good measure). One of the big design points here was that it had to look like a real product.

The logo was designed to mimic the styling in BT's current logo, but also turn that styling into something that could carry across a whole range of products.

Stutter Edit runs as an instrument / track plugin in DAWs that support RTAS / VST / AU plugins.
