One of my favorite aspects of Japanese architecture has always been their storefronts. On the outside, they appear vintage, but on the inside, they are modern.

I was looking for reference images to draw and I came across the works of Mateusz Urbanowicz & Ann-Sophie De Steur. I really loved the art style of Matt and the presentation of Ann. I wanted to combine both of their art styles with pixel art. So, that's what I have tried to do here. This is the first of hopefully many that I will make in the future.
