"In November 2022 I started drawing with an enormous amount of pleasure again, with this set of images. For now I'm naming this collection as Aquecimento, translated from portuguese means "Warm Up". All of them took under 30 minutes to make, and had no previous sketch - straight to the iPad. I drew them with blocks of color and shapes, which is rare for me, since I wasn't afraid anymore to lose the lines that so many times define my illustrations. Looking at the illustrations, from the perspective of the author, I found out that I knew how to be cool and straightforward, maybe I've just forgotten it for most of the time and complicated things when there was no necessary need for it.

I hope when these images find other people, they show that they're nice because of the way they are, that there was no need for being pretentious."
