It's just good practice to include your password requirements right away. If you do it after, the user is bound to get annoyed. How are they supposed to know that YOUR digital product's requirements for passwords are different from what they are used to?
Believe it or not but some websites don't require an uppercase letter and some even prevent you from adding symbols like @ # $ % in your passwords (which would otherwise make it stronger).
