Sprocket Android Listing Creation Year Picker (Discarded)
Found an old concept for optimizing the creation flow am going to discard and the reasoning for this is interesting. When theres a series of text fields its better to have a numeric keyboard for entry of 4 digits than a year picker + since the field is not required its more consistent to enter into it from the prior text field, and skip it fi desired with the next button. On the other hand if its a year picker the interface will change radically for a field which is optional + orienting and finding the 4-digit year will take longer I expect.
