Orcas is a platform that connects tutors with students that need help throughout their school careers by providing paid tutoring sessions.

UX (Problem, solution, and flow design).

Problem:

After searching and studying our user funnels we found that there is a problem with our search results

Search results are irrelevant to users, Not sorted by what they need.

We do not have data to provide tailored search results since there might be more than one learner on the same account with different school grades and school systems too.

We need to collect data so we can order search results correctly (make them relevant).

Mothers who have more than 1 child in different grades can tamper with our data thus the search results will be random and harder to go through in order to find a suitable tutor.

solution

As we are not using the Ai system to have a clear algorithm built by the previous user research, we have to use simple logic to omit the results that do not fit the criteria.

To have criteria we need to collect data needed to introduce the concept of creating one or more profiles for each account
