Fjort: a practice in type design

I have been working on a typeface called Fjort for a few weeks now. It's a practice in type design. This is a preview of it. It’s a work in progress. So, there is still a lot to be done.

I am trying to figure out how you would call this typographic style. A modern sans-serif, maybe? Because it has the features of a modern serif, without the actual serifs.
