Hey! Visual aesthetic is evolving at a rapid pace, we think it’s fascinating, so let’s talk about it.
Looking back just a few years, Web 2.0 always put humans at the center of everything. As a result we’ve all seen this neutral sans-serif big tech style with photos of human speaking and hands holding mobile phones.
The Next Web makes technology feel even more technological while embracing the unknown. Instead of "This product solves your problems", it's now more about "Explore this new world with us."
This thrill lets creators explore visuals that have a completely different message. And 8-bit art is an excellent example of that. Although we can't predict which technology will survive – we enjoy watching its evolution, technology, and aesthetics.
