Muhammad Ali Site

Twelve Rounds

Becoming "The Greatest" didn't happen overnight...but for me it took a couple of weeks.

In September of 2021, award winning documentary film director Ken Burns released Muhammad Ali, the iconic heavyweight boxing champion who became an inspiration to people everywhere. Prior to that, PBS needed a website to promote, educate and entertain anyone who was interested.

The challenge was that there was so much information, photos, video and interviews that we needed a clean and uncluttered site where you can maneuver through the pages and not feel lost or overwhelmed.

I wanted to create a place where anyone could watch, learn and understand the life of Muhammad Ali with a meaningful digital experience.

Saved by the bell

Were you aware that saying comes from boxing? I wasn't.

Leveraging research data and project objectives, we build the most comforting, engaging and desirable experience for the user, helping them achieve their goals as quickly as possible with minimum fuss.

Thus it was important for the site to be accessible from anywhere. The mobile version is simply a responsive version of the desktop, with all the same bells and whistles that make it a delight to use, nothing left on the mat.

Float like a butterfly

Just in case you wanted to shuffle your feet and sting like a bee, we included some great music with a Spotify playlist.
