Rhode Island License Plate Redesign (details)

Here are a few design details used in my license plate concepts. Anchors are synonymous with Rhode Island and appears in the state flag, along with the motto “Hope” so it felt like a no-brainer to include at some level.

Keeping in line with the nautical theme I created a rope pattern and fishing boat. You often see imagery of sail boats and other recreational vessels representing RI so I thought I’d try something different. It’s a nod to the hard-working fishing industry in the area and my late father-in-law, an avid fisherman who loved the local waters. ⚓️ ❤️
