I'm so excited to show you my latest exploration.
OK, let me tell you what this is. This project is all about personal portfolios, especially for photographers who need to showcase their best projects to gain new clients. Since recently brutalism & big typography style became the top trend in web design, I tried to apply it to my project this time. It's both challenging and fun to play with unique typography with sizes out of rules and off-grid layouts. At first, I felt a little strange with this style of website, but after seeing a lot of cool references, I fell in love with these styles.
Wireframe Exploration
Before I created a final UI, I tried to explore the layouts and content in the wireframe phase. I created 3 wireframes with different layouts, styles and typography
Final UI
After asking for feedback from the team, I decided to combine some parts into a final UI, and here is the result. I finalized the UI with a grayscale style and put some lines to fill a space and express a minimal feel. Thank you to Emmanuel Jason for providing the picture in Pexels
