Independence Day of Ukraine 🇺🇦

🇺🇦 Hello everyone! 

Every year, Ukrainians celebrate their country's independence on August 24. But this year celebrations won't have the usual fanfare because during the past 182 days Ukraine valiantly resists the Russian invasion.

Today I want to share with you a few facts about my country to explain to you why we are proud to be Ukrainian beyond the brave fight for freedom.

1. Ukraine is one of the first countries in the world that launched digital ID-passport and biometric travel passports and the first country to equate digital passports with traditional ones. 

2. Ukraine is fourth in the world by the number of certified IT specialists. Many of them are still working from Ukraine no matter the war rages around them. 

3. Ukraine is the largest exporter of sunflower oil in the world, responsible for up to 46% of sunflower-seed and safflower oil production.

We hope that we can celebrate independence without weapons in the future. But now we fight for our right to exist!
