Love Makes A Family

Ok...here's something a tad different. This was and old sofa table we had in our garage and my wife, Janea, wanted to redo it. I had never tried the chalk paint before, so I thought what the hell. I apologize on how bad the type is, but I tried painting out the type with liquid frisket first and then painting over it with the lighter paint, then went in and sanded it back to give the distressed look. Some of the frisket come off and some didn't but I found it interesting on how distressed it did look. It was just fun to explore what would happen.
I have attached a couple other shots and a photo of the original table before I started.
Might be a nice treatment to try on a sign....huuumm. Just thought I would share. I know its not really something normally posted here, but I thought it might inspired someone to try something different.
