Umbril Optics is an eyewear brand specializing in blue light-blocking glasses. The term "umbril" comes from old english - it is a protective visor over an armored helmet. Just as the classic umbril protected the eyes of medieval soldiers in battle, Umbril Optics lens technology protects the eyes from excessive, harmful blue light exposure. The shape of the logo represents a section of a waveform and an abstract representation of light passing through a filter.
