Dark Matter of Work illustrations

Today we’d like to share with you our recent illustration case for the Dark Matter of Work campaign.
For this project we wanted to create something really special which would include our general design approach (simple shapes, brushes, and textures) but from another perspective. After some brainstorming, we decided to go with textures, some clipping masks, shapes, and thin lines.
For some of the illustrations we also used black and white photo elements (like piggy bank and a telescope).
The whole visual language is circling around the space theme but we didn’t want to be too straightforward. That’s why rather than use photos of real space as illustration backgrounds we came up with an idea to search for some other textures like sand, wood, paper, concrete, and many others.
