Hornepayne

Three bears identity design for the Town of Hornepayne.

Hornepayne is a railway town of 1,000 between Toronto and Winnipeg.

The three bears is a symbol of community, spirit, and family and is currently used in their town crest.

The three bears are set against a natural scene, emphasizing the significance of Hornepayne's northern landscape. The four pine trees are symbols of nature, and the negative space between them creates arrows, signifying the comings and goings of the railroad. The wave at the bottom suggests water. A rustic colour palette was chosen to represent the long history of railroading in the town since its founding in 1915.
