When designing the calculator feature on our financial client’s website, we focused on making it as short and simple as possible so that users wouldn’t feel deterred from completing it. As the primary goal of the user was to see what their monthly payment would be, we made sure to style the outputs big and bold so they would find the numbers quickly.
