Everyone loves stories

Our insights team had accumulated a vast amount of data, based on behaviors of candidate users, and what jobs they searched. We also had gathered data on what jobs our employers were posting, and how long those posts were active.

How can we make that data available to our customers, in an interesting, entertaining and educational way? Stats are boring but Stat Stories are awesome!

Execution

We were able to narrow down and consolidate the information into 12 different cities, that posted and searched for certain technology jobs on our site.

I created a parallax effect in the prototype which was used in the final development. It added a nice touch to the final result.

Social Media Rollout

Creating videos for 12 different videos for 12 different cities was quite an adventure. One of my colleagues said that I was a Swiss-Army Knife on this project...I think it was a compliment but still unsure.

The videos really made the potential user feel like we were talking to them on the street like old friends, adding to the success of this project.

There was over a 30% uptick in visits to our hiring site. It was great teamwork to gather all this information and assets to make this a memorable project.
