Cascading to provide a series of tools to help enterprise manage their Hadoop applications. Concurrent contacted us to help them design their flagship product Driven. Driven is a first of it’s kind management tool to build, deploy, and manage your Hadoop applications with a visual orchestrator. As we do on most projects, our first discovery phase involved diving into the world of Hadoop and the specific personas, scenarios and stories involved in managing applications on an enterprise scale. Having designed other visual orchestration tools for other industries, it wasn’t a completely unfamiliar interaction paradigm, nevertheless the complexities of Hadoop application management were daunting. Through our agile design process we worked with the Concurrent team to help make Driven the best in-class Hadoop management tool on the market today.
