Texas FanGuide iOS app icon

Latest version of the app icon for my Texas FanGuide college football fan app. I use same icon with different colors for other schools.

Not totally happy with the Texas text bar at the bottom but I've convinced myself it's needed. What does everyone think, if the app name is "Texas Fan" or "Aggie Fan" right under the icon, do I need to the school name ON the icon itself?

(I can't use any school logos etc. because those are copyrighted and most schools are VERY aggressive about defending those.)
