    Tooltips are an extra overlay trigged by the actions of our users. Tooltips are used to give additional information to a user when there would not be enough place in the UI.

    Usage

    The tooltip is used to provide extra information to our users. There are (mainly) three use cases for a tooltip.

    • When an action is disabled and a user needs to know why

    • When content is cut off in the UI, for example, there is not enough place to

    • Display a string. In this case, the tooltip shows the full value of the string
