Types Handbills

I recently shot some new portfolio photos for Types—an exhibition on typography at Prove Gallery that hung in July. I was responsible for creating an identity for the event.

I asked 5 artists in the show to create their own interpretation of a letterform, and each letterform emblazons its own handbill. When all 5 handbills are collected, it spells the name of the show. The idea was to showcase the drastically different approaches to typography that were being exhibited.
