The gem concept is based on a simple story. A viewer going through different pieces of art and each scene within the frame represent different feelings just like the SuperRare platform. It welcomes everything, even the craziest ones.
Framing emotions
Who would put their NFTs into a regular frame? That was the first question we asked ourselves when we were designing the frame of the artwork.
We wanted the frame to feel futuristic yet exclusive. Having a gray base and bold letters we were almost there- but the finale was by adding a touch of gold into the mix and voilà!
Designing a heart for the mirror
Surely, the frame can't be just empty it needed something that can live but still keep the focus on the gem emoji. That's when we thought we could bring a heart into the scene but not an ordinary one- we mixed the heart with liquid just like the movement we have inside the frame to keep the composition alive and breathing.
The artwork we created for the frame was also used in the Miami event of SuperRare x Yat. It was pretty fun to see digital pieces alive this time.
