QUBE. clothing — Logo mark

Thanks to Meagan Fisher for drafting me!

I'm working on a logo for my girlfriend's up and coming clothing line, QUBE. clothing located in North Vancouver, Canada. It will be used in both online and in print material.

As an Interface Desiger, my Logo Design skills and techniques aren't yet there. I tend to overthink things and get lost in whether to add depth, texture and lighting (ie. icons) or to leave it mostly flat (ie. traditional logos). My concept here is a sort of 'inbetween'.

The logo—a custom Q and Arbutus tree—is looking to tie modern/edgy with the West Coast, comfort, laidback, local, organic and earthy.

100% vector and layer styles and made in Photoshop.

Critiques and tips are greatly appreciated (best methods for resizing and document setup?).
