Google UX Course app

I reviewed the Google UX Course last year and said that if one of my review videos reaches 1000 likes I will do a live redesign of the Google Dog Walking app example from the course. This is what I came up with in 90 minutes of the livestream, below you can see the original app (on the left) and my redesign on the right.

Next to a visual overhaul I modified the navigation and brought more useful, contextual links to the main page. That way we don't need a bottom menu, as everything is quickly accessible.
