NY Jets - Early Concepts,

I was recently watching some old movies and saw the old Jets logo and kind of fell in love with it, I wonder why they even left it behind in the first place, so I decided early on to "modernize" their already modern old logo, these are the very first concepts, no revisions done yet, but I would love to hear some feedback to help me further my design.
