Wonde - Brand Strategy

Hello everyone!

We are so happy to share the visual identity we developed for Wonde. Wonde is a powerful, easy-to-use digital solution to transform the way schools and apps control their data. With Wonde, schools can finally manage their data between third-party Apps simply and securely.

The challenge was to build an identity that could communicate with the simplicity and reliability of a traditional tech brand. Yet, at the same time, keep resonating with the educational sector. We designed an icon that could work as a protective symbol, the Wonde shield, which could also be read as a school emblem. We paired it with a lowercase wordmark to give the brand a more approachable energy, reflective of how Wonde works and the solutions it provides.

With the color palette, we wanted to mirror the world of classrooms, textbooks, and playgrounds. So we started out with Blazer Blue and Crayola Blue as primary colors. Then, we complemented them with warmer tones of Crayola Orange, Sunshine Yellow, and Pencil Red.

To tie everything together, we created a set of thick scribbles to highlight keywords in the copy, crop images, or add some spontaneity to the layouts. We also produced a small collection of badges with the brand's key concepts and values to create even more playful and engaging collaterals.

Finally, we topped it all with an illustration style just as simple and expressive, expanding on the shapes and gestures we could find in the primary typeface and custom scribbles.

We are delighted with the results and the delivery of this project. The team at Wonde trusted us to push the boundaries and challenge their initial brand assumptions, letting us reveal an identity that was full of character and personality.
