Pairing Le Monde Journal & Allumi

Le Monde Journal is by definition intended for newspaper use and at small sizes. It’s an economical and workhorse typeface suited to all extreme conditions. Pushed to its extreme limits, the Allumi shapes are neither perfectly round or geometrically square. It’s a human design with a high tech touch. Used together, they should bring a nice contrast to any contemporaray layouts. One option is to use Allumi for headlines and the highly legible Le Monde Journal for texts, but why not trying the reverse?
