Tables

Working on table views for a cool new app. I know tables aren't the most glamorous of interfaces, but I'm going for a clean, modern look. I'd love some feedback on a few things:

1. As you can see there are a lot of nav tabs... is it best to have the a scrollbar within the nav when they are expanded or have them lengthen the whole page?

2. Does the "full-text" search make sense? Any ideas on how to make this feel more inclusive with the search field?
