2D - 3D Integration
Here is one of our favorite shots from this project, and another great example of a great integration between 2D and 3D elements 🚗✨
Starting with animating the truck in C4D and generating a few nulls on different parts of the model and BG 🔧
We then imported that 3D file into After effects and started working on the 2D animations.It's very important to make the animation of the characters and all the 2D elements match the movement of the truck. For that we parent our 2D elements to the nulls created in C4D.
After adding a few elements on the BG, we replace the final render of the truck, and with a little touch of compositing we ended up creating this beautiful shot! 🛻🐶👍
