Oh mama. In 2021, Cincinnati Magazine reached out to Valéry. They needed illustrations for their weekly parenting guide, Baby and Beyond. The guide offers insights on pregnancy, parenting, and more. From daycare to doulas, Valéry crafted five illustrations for the magazine. Each one tells a different story.
Valéry’s warm, illustrative style offers a bridge to Cincinnati parents as they navigate the complicated world of parenting. While this was Valéry’s first work with Cincinnati Magazine, it won’t be her last. Part of her process includes imagining and researching the community for whom she illustrates. And this time, she quickly fell in love. Fans of the Bengals have a new fan in Valérydesignwrks.
