Capstone project #4, Gloss Genius Mock up
As a Cosmetologist I use a scheduling app daily to help me schedule clients, keep track of inventory & sales as well as advertising. The app that I use is called Gloss Genius. I love the app itself and almost everything about it, except for the calendar. I used this real world issue to try to recreate the calendar/scheduling aspect of the app into something I would prefer. The original app design has a 24 hour calendar. When booking clients I have to scroll around to find the time I need rather than just simply displaying my working hours. When recreating this app I focused solely on the Calendar.

This is the original flow from the dashboard to settings and then the original calendar. The only calendar setting in the original app is a two way calendar sync.
Gloss Genius Mock up
This is the mockup version that I created to improve the UX issues I was having with the app. I only chose to focus in on the changing the settings aspect of the calendar since everything else works as needed. Adding in more options for the calendar. The option to change the view from 24 hours, to 12 hours, or my personal preference working hours only.
