At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a notification of a new order. Upon viewing the new order, merchants should swipe up and tap on the "Accept" button to confirm the order. The order will go into preparation.

Solving UX for "Order under preparation"

Problem

It was difficult for merchants to keep track of order time stamps when multiple orders are in preparation during peak times. After the order was received, they mentally calculated how long it had been since the order was received.

Solution

When the order was received, we animated the time and displayed how much time had passed since the order was received. By doing so, merchants could see the actual time stamp instantly at a glance.

Delayed orders

Problem

Merchants couldn't keep track of the orders that are on time and the ones that are running late.

Solution

In the case of an order that is not marked as "Order ready" in time, the card turns red and the button starts blinking, this was done to get the merchant's attention.
