Cultivated Balance - Custom Logo Design

Cultivated Balance is an Eco-friendly landscaping company. It seeked an identity that reflected nature, serenity, strength, appeal to men and women, and of course personal well-being and balance. I thought a bonsai would suggest nurturing of nature, and some bonsai plants amazingly balance themselves in such unique ways to show it's rooted strength. I began with hand-sketches, scanned, created vectors in Adobe Illustrator, transformed variants until I reached a balanced design. I matched the font to the resulting logo. I applied some shadow and dimension in Adobe Photoshop for the purpose of this illustrative mock-up.
