Language Exchange App - Landing Page

Daily UI Exercise: Trying out a different concept for a landing page, this time with a language exchange app, tuturo! (admittedly, not my best hypothetical app name) I chose Arial Rounded Bold for the main font, since its softer, rounder font characteristics evokes a friendly and more human feel - the first impression I was hoping this landing page would make for an app that encourages conversation and friendliness.

I placed the 'Get the app' button in a central position, since the goal is to make it as easy as possible for users to get the app.

I also highlighted two key features that differentiates this landing page to other competitors (e.g. real apps such as HelloTalk, Tandem, etc.), which are the 'buddy pairing' system where users will be paired up based on similar interests and personalities (after all, it's much easier to chat with someone you really sync with), as well as security / safety checks, since some users might be worried about meeting sketchy strangers online...rightly so since the internet can be a scary place!
