The wireframing we did at the start of the project was extremely helpful for this pattern library; I was able to get through each wire and pick out all of the different components. I also made sure that components were shared across templates where possible but considering the sheer amount of content PI have, the pattern library is still very extensive.

This was a very important stage in the process because it was the last piece of design I did before I started coding the theme. When I get to the coding stage, I like as many of the design decisions to be agreed so I can purely focus on writing CSS.
