Time tracking using screenshots

I'm a pretty lazy freelancer when it comes to time tracking. I've probably tried at least three gazillion apps and SaaS options, but always found myself falling back to simpler tools again – like a notebook or an excel sheet.

Last year, in my laziness, I've started taking screenshots of the lock screen whenever I arrived at the client's place. And took another one when we went for lunch and when I left home. At the end of the week, I would collect all screenshots and create a summary in excel and pass it on to the client.

To simplify the screenshot collection, I've built a simple app around this workflow, which I have now been using for around a year.

Clockshots is a time tracking app, that allows you track time by simply taking screenshots. When you start your work, take a screenshot of the iPhone's lock screen. When you leave, take another one. That's it. ClockShots automatically extracts the screenshots and builds up the timeline from there.
