The Sandwich Factory | Mobile App
PROJECT OVERVIEW
For Google UX Design Certificate, I created a The Sandwich Factory app to help customers quickly and easily make their orders. I realized that the customers are facing with some problem with the traditional current paper menu, so I want to create a product that can support our customers, reduce ordering time, improve sales, and increase customer satisfaction.

USER RESEARCH SUMMARY
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research was working adults who have bad experience with the traditional menu in the sandwich shop.
Some problems of this group are they be lost in the list of all text menu with no navigation, difficult to find featured, recommended, most popular or vegan meals, and hard to order when staffs can not use English.
I tried to add language selection in the first screen of the flow to support non French speakers to able to use the app. I also added images and descriptions to each sandwich items to illustrate the meals.
